(HD Videos) Barons vs Hitmen (Mar 6, 2010)

Please note: If anyone wants the DVDs of the game, please contact me in private. These are lasting memories, you can watch the DVDs on your TV and computer monitor. You "do not" need to have HDTV to watch the HD videos. The video quality is excellent on normal TV and on normal computer monitor as well as HDTV. Usually each game has 2 DVDs. The video quality of the DVDs is superior and it's a lot better than the video on Youtube. Youtube process and convert the uploaded videos. Each time a video's being converted or transcoded from one type of compression to another, there will be some loss in quality, similar to making a photocopy of a photocopy. For example, the file size of a 10 minute HD video on DVD is about 53 times larger than the 10 minute video you watch on Youtube. The audio and video quality of the DVDs is superb, images are incredibly clear, crisp, sharp with amazing rich, vivid color and increased color fidelity. The audio's recorded as Dolby Digital 5.1ch surround sound, which adds an extra sense of realism when you play back the HD footage on connected 5.1ch-compatible systems. Sound quality is superb if you have the 5.1ch-compatible systems. But even if you do not have 5.1ch-compatible systems, sound quality is still excellent. Also, video playback on DVDs is "not" choppy at all because internet connection is "not" required when you play the DVDs. Therefore video playback on DVDs is very smooth. I recorded many games in different leagues. I still have the original videos of most of the games as of now so if anyone want the DVDs of any games, please contact me in private as soon as you can. I can give you the DVDs at a very low cost. You can pick up the DVDs or I can mail them to you. Thanks!! :D

I recorded the ball hockey games as a volunteer and I do not make any profit selling the DVDs. The file size for HD videos is huge, usually 5 to 6 GB for one hockey game, the data transfer just for uploading all the videos for the hockey games is more than 100 GB every month, that explains why it usually takes a few hours just to upload a 10-minute video on Youtube. I offer the DVDs for the games at a low cost because the video quality of the DVDs is a lot better than the ones on Youtube, and to cover the partial cost to upload the files, that is, additional fees to our internet service providers to upload huge files, and to get the extra hardwares to store the files.

Here is the link to watch the videos on Youtube:

Maximum length of videos we can upload to YouTube is 10 minutes 59 seconds so I have to split the whole game into several videos. The playlist should autoplay all videos sequentially. Alternatively, you can click on the thumbnail image of any video. YouTube has launched a complete redesign of their video playback page recently, they began upgrading HD streams to 1080p from the current 720p, offering support for video playback in Full HD. Please follow the quick step below to watch the videos in Full HD and increase the size of the Youtube video window:

After you click on the above Youtube link, please move your mouse cursor over the 360P or 480P button on the lower right hand corner of the Youtube video player (see the two pictures below) and choose 1080P. Please choose 1080P for "EACH" video on the playlist manually because Youtube will not play the every video on the playlist in 1080P automatically so please choose 1080P for each video manually! This step is important. Thanks! :)

Please also note: If the video playback is choppy, one possible reason is that the servers of Youtube are experiencing high traffic. It's also possible that your video download speed is slow or inconsistent. In this case, you can try pausing the video until the entire stream is downloaded and then playing the video. Please understand that Youtube's traffic, your video download speed or internet connection speed are completely beyond our control and there's nothing we can do on our end. If the video playback is still choppy, you can try watching the video in smaller screen size. Thanks again. :D

Thank you for watching the videos. Because the file size of a HD video is a lot larger than a SD video, so it usually takes a few hours to finish uploading a 10 minute HD video on Youtube even with high speed internet. Plus Youtube have to process each video after it's been uploaded, processing time for HD video could take several hours for each video. Therefore it may take quite a long time for all the videos of the game to appear online. Your patience and understanding are greatly appreciated. Youtube allows people to upload only one file at a time. Although Youtube mentions that people can upload up to 10 videos at a time, but in reality people cannot upload more than one video at the same time. The uploader allows people to queue up up to 10 videos, as one finishes uploading the next begins uploading. I always do my best to upload the videos as soon as I can, thanks so much for your patience and understanding again! :D
