it seems strange that kelowna (7 teams), kamloops (12 teams), vernon (8 teams) and penticton (5 teams) all have b teams (and kelowna even has a premier team)...victoria has 12 teams and can only field c teams...shouldn't league size alone dictate that there is at least one b team sent as a representative from there??? what are the conditions for a league to have a b team at provincials??? i've played enough victoria teams in the past to know that they often send teams too strong for c to the provincials...they do have the talent there to compete at the b level...they seem to only do that when they have to move up and then they move back down as soon as they are able...it just doesn't seem right that 2/3 of the b division teams are from the lower mainland...though i'm sure they are all glad for the chance to play...
